Concept to Action Book Club
How often have you read a great nonfiction book and thought “wow” these concepts can make a big difference in my life, my work, my family and/or my community – then you put the book on a shelf and that is the end of it?
The Concept to Action Book Club bridges the gap between being excited about a concept and actually putting that concept into action. Each month you will receive a summary of a book that is relevant to what is currently going on in the business world and life in general. The summary will explain the key concepts presented in the book and then include a few workbook pages that will enable you to immediately apply those concepts. You can use these action pages for yourself, or you can use them to facilitate the thinking of others individually or in a group setting. The intent of these workbook pages is to help the concept stay with you long after you have put your book on the shelf.
Here are five reasons why you should join the Concept to Action Book Club:
If you love to keep up with current thinking about how to grow as an individual, as a leader or as an organization but simply don't have the time to read as much as you like, then this book club is for you.
You'll receive a book summary each month that you can read through in minutes, and you'll walk away with an understanding of what the featured book is about and how you can immediately put to practice its main concepts in your own life.
This month's selection is the Malcolm Gladwell Trilogy. It's basically three summaries in one. It covers The Outliers, Blink, and The Tipping Point. Most book clubs that provide such useful book summaries cost $100, $500 or even more per year but this book club is absolutely free. If you would like to join, it's very easy. All you have to do is put your first name and your email address in the box to the right, then you'll receive an email with your link to the Malcolm Gladwell Trilogy. I hope you'll enjoy it!
